been doing these faithfully on fridays but haven't posted them here the last few weeks. all alcohol marker and fountain pen on 6 x 9" bristol vellum.

these are actually part of a challenge in a facebook group and i've grown to love doing them in fountain pen and alcohol marker. think i'll have to add a set of skin tone alcohol markers to my Christmas wish list! i only have a set of 72 and not many are suitable for skin tones. i overworked...

i did this one on the weekend and forgot to post here. still working on making CS part of my morning online "art stroll"! this is becoming a favorite combination of media for me, although i find alcohol marker is a pain to work with. you have to work so fast to get decent blending. ah well...

i thought i'd start out with the some of the many uses of ink. some i haven't tried yet.. or at least tried successfully. i can think of a couple off the top of my head like Sumi-e (Japanese ink painting) and calligraphy. any more i missed? illustrative... architectural... alcohol...
