I made this over the last couple of days. Aliferous and Faber Castell oil pastels on Strathmore pastel paper.

I just put fixative on the second soft pastel painting i have created. I am sooo upset. What was I thinking? I should have researched it. I didn't even take a picture first...ugh. Do you protect your soft pastel work somehow? Frame it?

Ok...I am really struggling with this one. I could use some advice. I gave up and just signed it, but I am not happy with it. I have attached the reference and the oil pastel painting. Can you help me? Thanks! Heather

Finally made another oil pastel piece. I love this medium so much.

Done with Aliferous Oil Pastels. I am fairly new to pastels and really enjoying them! The process is so freeing and messy and lovely.
